Mr. Sustar has been president and owner of Fredon Corporation since our inception in 1969. His entrepreneurial spirit and leadership has grown the company into a leading manufacturer of precision machined parts and assemblies.

Mr. Sustar continues to maintain an emphasis on quality and industry commitment, garnering many awards. In 2008 he was recognized with the Leading Edge award, the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year award, the Lake Geauga Fast Track 50 award and the Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Scouter award. Over the years, Fredon has been a Northcoast 99 recipient, Manny Award winner and a Weatherhead Family Business Hall of Fame Family Firm of Distinction.

Mr. Sustar is extremely active (and vocal) with local and state government officials. He is frequently featured in publications such as The News-Herald and Crains Cleveland Business. He keeps his finger on the pulse of the economy and the state of manufacturing in America.

Today, Mr. Sustar is joined by his children, Chris Sustar and Alyson Scott, who help run the company.
